NCMDC Provides Financing to Amaral Associates of Fitchburg

The North Central Massachusetts Development Corporation (NCMDC) recently approved a $10,000 loan to Rebecca Amaral, President of Amaral Associates Inc. in Fitchburg. 

Rebecca Amaral runs Amaral Associates, a guardian and conservator for people who are unable to make medical or financial decisions for themselves. With this loan Rebecca will add new computers and billing software which will allow her to expand her services to more clients and increase her capacity to bring on additional staff.

As a microloan lender, NCMDC can provide loans to small businesses up to $150,000 for working capital, equipment, inventory, expansion and working with our banking partners to provide gap financing for the final piece of a project. 

NCMDC Provides Loan to Family Martial Arts Center (FMAC) of Leominster

The North Central Massachusetts Development Corporation (NCMDC) recently approved a $95,000 loan to Len Brassard’s Family Martial Arts Center (FMAC) located in the Twin City Plaza in Leominster.  

FMAC is co-directed by Len M Brassard and his son Len D Brassard who recently moved their martial arts facility into a new space in the Twin City Plaza. NCMDC’s loan, referred by Workers Credit Union, was used for fit-up of the new location as part of a project along with Geronimo Properties, the owner of the building. Originally opened in 1989 by Len M Brassard, FMAC provides self-defense and character development training for students of all ages. Of particular note is FMAC’s kids program which is designed to foster personal development, instill virtues, and develop self-esteem, confidence and discipline.
