The North Central Massachusetts Development Corporation (NCMDC) recently approved a $25,000 loan to Joshua Halterman, owner of Joshua Allen Design, an interior design and home staging business based in Sterling, MA.
Joshua started the business as a part time venture in 2016, initially fluffing houses for sale with a real estate agent associate. Since then Joshua has grown the business into full home staging projects and photography services for real estate sales as well as interior design work for people looking to re-model or re-decorate their homes and in September 2018 he took the leap and started running his business full time. This loan will help Joshua add furniture to his inventory to be used in home stagings as well as provide working capital and help fund marketing efforts. Joshua Allen Design worked with NewVue on his projections, and was referred through the SBA Lender Match Program.
As a microloan lender, NCMDC can provide loans to small businesses up to $150,000 for working capital, equipment, inventory, expansion and working with our banking partners to provide gap financing for the final piece of a project.
