NCMDC Provides Loan to Family Martial Arts Center (FMAC) of Leominster

The North Central Massachusetts Development Corporation (NCMDC) recently approved a $95,000 loan to Len Brassard’s Family Martial Arts Center (FMAC) located in the Twin City Plaza in Leominster.

FMAC is co-directed by Len M Brassard and his son Len D Brassard who recently moved their martial arts facility into a new space in the Twin City Plaza. NCMDC’s loan, referred by Workers Credit Union, was used for fit-up of the new location as part of a project along with Geronimo Properties, the owner of the building. Originally opened in 1989 by Len M Brassard, FMAC provides self-defense and character development training for students of all ages. Of particular note is FMAC’s kids program which is designed to foster personal development, instill virtues, and develop self-esteem, confidence and discipline. The move to this space retains six jobs. For more information on FMAC visit their Facebook page at Facebook.com/LenBrassardsFMAC, or visit their new location in the Twin City Plaza.

As a microloan lender, NCMDC can provide loans to small businesses up to $150,000 for working capital, equipment, inventory, expansion and working with our banking partners to provide gap financing for the final piece of a project.
