North Central Mass Development Corp Provides Financing to Artist in Hue in Leominster
The North Central Massachusetts Development Corporation (NCMDC) recently approved a $10,000 loan to Candice Churchill, owner of Artist in Hue located at 24 Church Street, Suite 30, located in Leominster.
Candice Churchill has recently taken her knowledge and passion for all things art, and has created an open studio where she plans to hold evening events, and specialty nights such as paint nights, girls night out, as well as kids play dates and parties. As a licensed art teacher here in Massachusetts, and having studied in Florence with a BA in studio art and history, Candice wants to share her love of art and to provide an opportunity for both children and adults to experience art in a fun and creative environment. She plans to have classes after school available for beginner, intermediate, and advanced artists. This loan assisted Candice with supplies, furniture, start-up costs and working capital to help establish Hue Can Paint?! She will rent space from the City of Leominster’s newly formed incubator space on Church Street. For more information, Candice also has a Facebook and website for her business, which can be located at https://artistinhue.com.
As a microloan lender, NCMDC can provide loans to small businesses up to $150,000 for working capital, equipment, inventory, expansion and working with our banking partners to provide gap financing for the final piece of a project.
